Add Users to the Bookkeep App within Shopify

Step 1: Install and Open the App​

Open the Bookkeep app from your Shopify admin. You'll see a screen indicating that your Shopify email is not currently linked to a Bookkeep user.

Step 2: Choose "Log in with my Bookkeep user"​

You'll see two options:

  • "Sign in to Bookkeep" ← Click this one

  • "I'm new - Create my account"

Step 3: Enter Your Bookkeep Email​

On the next screen, enter the email address associated with your Bookkeep account.

Click "Send verification email".

Step 4: Check Your Email​

You'll receive a verification email from Bookkeep. Click the verification link in the email.

Note: Check your spam/junk folder if you don't see the email within a few minutes.

Step 5: Select Your Entity (if applicable)​

After verification, if your Bookkeep account has access to multiple entities, you'll be asked to select which one to connect to this Shopify store.

If you only have access to one entity, this step happens automatically.

You're now connected! The app will load your Bookkeep data for the selected entity.
